Anyone looking for somewhere different to visit should consider Kentucky.  We don't have a Disney World, Empire State Building, Golden Gate Bridge, Grand Canyon, or any sandy beaches.  What we do have is lots of quiet locations with beautiful scenery.  You can go to the top of the mountains in Eastern Kentucky or the river bottoms of Western Kentucky.  Either direction, there is plenty to enjoy.  If silence is not your preference, we can fill your ears with excitement.  Every week-end has a wide range of musical offerings.  You can experience anything from the traditional sounds of Bluegrass and Country to the newer Alternative; and everything in-between.  The largest cities, such as Louisville and Lexington, have several clubs providing live bands each night, but the best entertainment you may be missing is our annual festivals.  Nearly every city has at least one festival each year.  Some specialize in one form of music, while others have a mix of styles.  Regardless of your choice, you will see and hear the best local talent we have.  They can compare with any in the world.  Make an appointment to visit one of our festivals.  You won't be disappointed.
